Our Host

Meet Kindness Calloway

Kindness is the creator and host of Loving Kindness Everyday, a documentary-style podcast exploring the people, experiences, beliefs, and unexpected moments that shape our lives.

Kindness is also an author, spiritual writer, teacher, and storyteller whose work asks some of life’s most personal questions:

Why are we the way we are?

What happens to us when life changes us?

How do we learn to live with what we’ve survived?

What might change if we became kinder to ourselves?

These questions sit at the heart of everything Kindness creates.

Kindness Is for You

Kindness did not discover the power of self-kindness from a textbook.

Kindness learned it through life.

Kindness turned hard experiences into questions about self-healing, resilience, identity, spirituality, and how the way we speak to ourselves reflects in our life.

Kindness discovered early on that helping other people could create a sense of purpose even during deeply difficult seasons of life.

That realization eventually became a central teaching:

Kindness is for You.

Not just kindness toward other people.

Not simply being nice.

Not sacrificing yourself to make everyone else comfortable.

Kindness is about learning to become conscious of the thoughts you think, the stories you tell yourself, and the way you respond to your own life.

Kindness teaches that self-compassion is not selfish. It is a foundation.

When we learn to treat ourselves with greater patience, honesty, and care, we create more room for genuine compassion toward the people around us.

A Spiritual Voice Built on Questions

Kindness’s spiritual writing comes from curiosity.

Kindness explores spirituality, Scripture, consciousness, intuition, healing, faith, synchronicity, and the possibility that some of life’s most meaningful moments are not random at all.

This is where Divine Synchronicity enters the conversation.

Kindness believes certain people, moments, and experiences can arrive with a meaning that may not be immediately obvious. Sometimes the significance of a moment only becomes clear much later.

Rather than telling people what they must believe, Kindness invites readers and listeners to become more curious about their own lives.

What if that conversation mattered?

What if that person entered your life for a reason?

What if the experience you thought was simply an interruption was actually an invitation?

These are the kinds of questions Kindness loves to explore.

The McDonald’s Story

What happened during that visit became the catalyst for one of the most personal decisions of Kindness’s life: legally changing the name to Kindness.

Kindness shared the story on Loving Kindness Everyday in January 2024.

Loving Kindness Everyday

Loving Kindness Everyday is where Kindness’s curiosity comes alive through conversation.

The podcast began as part of Kindness’s own journey and evolved into a place where real people can share the stories behind the lives we see from the outside.

Kindness talks with artists, creators, community members, advocates, leaders, and everyday people about the experiences that have shaped them.

Some conversations are deeply personal.

Some are funny.

Some challenge assumptions.

Some explore spirituality, identity, culture, healing, creativity, relationships, or community.

And some simply create the space for two people to listen to one another.

Kindness does not approach every conversation looking for a perfect conclusion.

Kindness is interested in what happens when people are given room to be honest.

Because sometimes the conversation is the lesson.

It starts with conversation and ends with calmness.

The 3 C’s of Kindness Calloway

Kindness’s work is grounded in three ideas:

Conversation.
We understand one another by talking honestly.

Connection.
Our individual stories often reveal how much we have in common.

Community.
What we discover together can become something that helps someone else.

These are the 3 C’s of Kindness Calloway: Conversation, Connection, Community.

A Life of Reinvention

Kindness’s story has never followed a straight line.

Kindness joined the U.S. Army as a teenager and pursued education while serving. After an injury led to medical retirement, life took another unexpected direction.

Kindness rebuilt.

Kindness adapted.

Kindness kept learning.

And through every chapter, one thing continued to emerge: a desire to understand people and the experiences that shape them.

That curiosity eventually found its home in storytelling, spiritual writing, teaching, and podcasting.

Kindness doesn’t teach from the perspective of someone who has figured everything out.

Kindness teaches from the perspective of someone who has been willing to change and to keep learning.

A Different Kind of Teacher

Kindness’s work sits at the intersection of storytelling, spirituality, personal growth, and human connection.

Kindness writes about questions people are sometimes afraid to ask.

Kindness talks about experiences people often hide.

Kindness listens to stories without requiring those stories to fit neatly into a box.

And Kindness keeps returning to one powerful idea:

What happens when we begin treating ourselves with the same compassion we hope to find in the world?

Through Loving Kindness Everyday, spiritual writing, teaching, and personal storytelling, Kindness Calloway invites people to explore that question for themselves.

Because kindness is not simply something we give away.

Kindness is something we are required to give ourselves, too.
