Many people are in a tough spot financially right now, if you’re struggling financially right now you are certainly not alone.
But here’s the truth: you are not permanently stuck here.
Something will shift for you immediately, if you will commit to certain changes.
Stop Saying You’re Broke — Say This Instead and Watch God Move!
Change your mindset.
It’s that easy, but also it’s that difficult. Your success starts within. Your energy, your faith, your thoughts, and your words all matter far more than you may realize right now.
Have you ever heard someone say, “ugh I’m too broke to do that right now.” Or “I cannot afford to go right now. ” While that might be true in the moment, it’s much more powerful to do as the scriptures advise in Joel 3:10, when it says “now let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich” we might not feel like saying these things or some might think “well it’s lying” but you can always say something instead like, “I’m going to sit this one out I’ve got work to do.” and then you can go and use the time to make some money or you can say “I really need to rest, I’m going to pass this time” and use the time resting. Maybe you really want to go but know it’s not a wise choice, you can say “I’d really love to, but I think it best that I don’t go this time.”
If you can start by getting out of the habit of habitually word-cursing yourself that alone will be amazingly transformative for your financial life.
Try to listen to what you say… and understand that the Creator is always listening so if you say, “Uh I’m so broke!” you are asking the Universe to bring more of that energy to your life, more lack, more pain, more suffering.
That is why the scriptures say, “Let the weak say I am strong” not because you need to lie, but because you need to encourage yourself, tell yourself that you are wealthy and happy and blessed and watch the wealth and joy and blessings come.
So here is the simple truth I want to share with you today, grounded in wisdom and Biblical truth, apply this understanding and it will transform your life and aid your break through today.
You have ALL you need.
You are already worthy. No, not after the bills are paid…not when the raise finally comes. Right now, you are worthy and valuable and needed. When you truly believe that, things begin to shift.
Gratitude is the magnet for more. When you open your eyes and really look around, you’ll see that you already have so much to be thankful for.
Do you have arms and legs? Be thankful.
Did you eat a meal in the last 3-4 days? Be thankful.
Did you eat a meal in the last 3-4 hours? Be thankful.
No, I get it right now, you need something else, you are all caught up in that thing you need or bill you think there is no way to pay, and I know. Also, I understand that right now when you open your eyes you might not see everything you want or need yet, but I’m here to tell you that the more your recognize and choose to see as good in your life, the more good shows up.
Gratitude multiplies blessings.
Think carefully, what can you be grateful for right now? I’m going to help you.
Are you currently reading this, right now, from a hospital bed? If not, be grateful that you are not in the hospital, because right now there are a great many people lying in hospital beds wishing they could be anywhere else, maybe wishing they could walk outside, sit with a friend, or even stand up on their own.
I am grateful that I’m not in the hospital right now.
Do you have two working hands? Even one that works, sort of? Then be grateful. Tens of thousands of people were born with thalidomide defects or other conditions that left them without limbs or with limited mobility for life. If you were born without such issues, that is something you can be thankful for, right now.
Do your legs move? Can you walk to the fridge or to the bathroom on your own? Can you carry your own groceries, reach for a glass of water, open your own door? That’s something to recognize as a gift.
I am grateful for my body, and the movement that I do have.
Maybe your body struggles, but your mind is clear, be grateful for that. There are people with bodies that work but whose minds are clouded by illness or disability. And if your mind doesn’t always feel steady, but your heart is still open to love, or your imagination still lights up now and then, that’s something to thankful for too.
I am grateful for my mind, and ability to think and create.
If you can breathe without assistance, that’s a blessing. If you’re able to sleep under a roof, that’s a blessing. If you have food to eat, people who love you, or even one person who checks in on you, sometimes when they feel like it… yes that’s something, it’s a blessing to be grateful for.
Gratitude doesn’t mean you pretend things are perfect. It means you open your eyes to what is still good. What is still here. What is still working. And the more you give thanks for those things, the more good you’ll find showing up in your life.
When you thank God in advance, when you let the Universe see your joy, you’re planting seeds for more to be joyful about. That’s faith. That’s alignment. It tells Heaven, “I trust You, and I’m ready for more.”
So today, I, Kindness Calloway challenge you to pause and choose gratitude right now for something.
Smile at your fingers.
Wiggle your toes (if you can) and feel the joy of movement.
This might be a hard one but, choose to be thankful for the bills you can pay.
Say “Thank you” to life, for the food already in your fridge. For the people who love you (because you know how you can be).
And…for the wisdom you’ve gained on life’s journey.
The more you praise, the more reasons you’ll be given to keep praising.
So let’s do it. Together.
Affirm:
“I am aligned with Divine abundance. All my needs are met because the Lord is my Shepherd. I lack nothing. Money, success, and love flow to me easily and effortlessly. I am open to receive the Good God has for me. I am grateful for all I have and all that’s on the way. Today I choose faith over fear. I thank you in advance Heaven, because I know my blessings are here. I am trusting you and choosing gratitude. Thank you. Amen.”
And remember:
“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22)
“I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
You are not forgotten. God is not late. The Universe is busy working hard for you behind the scenes.
Today, together, Let’s take a moment to be grateful and praise Heaven. Praise is a spiritual key that unlocks invisible doors. Praise even when you don’t see it yet. Praise even before the breakthrough shows up. Trust that Heaven is doing what you can’t. Trust that God is moving where you can’t. Let the truth that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be right now fill you with peace. Let the peace of knowing you are exactly where you’re supposed to be settle over you. Rest, knowing that God has done it before and will do it again.
