Kindness Calloway’s Journey of Healing and Awareness with Saprea
In the spirit of Loving Kindness Everyday, my podcast is a space for reflection, connection, and transformation. I first learned about Saprea through the Miami-Dade Police Department’s victim advocate when I reported my abuser. This process was deeply painful but also profoundly healing. Through this journey, I connected with incredible individuals like Jocelyn Vaughn—an advocate, survivor, and an incredible support person who I met through Saprea.
Jocelyn and I had deep conversations about overcoming trauma and facing the truth about forgiveness in several episodes of the show (details below). These episodes were some of the most personal and enlightening I have ever recorded, focusing on healing, awareness, and the power of resilience.
Why Saprea Matters
Saprea is an organization that is dedicated to helping survivors reclaim their lives, offering resources, retreats, and community support to those who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. Their mission aligns with the heart of Loving Kindness Everyday—bringing light, understanding, and compassion to those who need it most. Through education and advocacy, they are transforming the conversation around trauma, reminding us that healing is possible and that survivors deserve support, not silence.
The Episodes: A Safe Space for Healing
Keep in mind, Loving Kindness Everyday is an “everyday” show—commonplace, ordinary, regular, raw, and real. This means you will hear genuine conversations with people who may use profanity or express raw emotions. The goal is to help others understand the divine flow by displaying and discussing our collective life experiences. I, Kindness Calloway, share my healing journey vulnerably and openly in hopes that it encourages you to find self-kindness, self-love, and self-compassion.
Most importantly, I want you to know: You are not alone.
If this is your story too (like Adam, Aaron, and Alexander), I hope these episodes help to mend the broken or bruised parts within. ⚠️ Trigger Warning: These episodes discusses sensitive topics that may be emotionally challenging for some listeners. ⚠️ Each of these episodes explores healing from child sexual trauma through honest conversations, personal storytelling, and scientific insights.
